collaborator

collaborator
collaborate, collaborator
The primary meaning of the verb, ‘to work in conjunction with someone else’, can still be used despite the sinister overtones it acquired when used of cooperation with the enemy during the second World War. This is true also of the agent noun collaborator:

• I wanted to work with a group of dancers and artistic collaborators over a sustained period of time —dance website, 2002 [OEC].
